We’re hoping to have a lot of cosplays done by then.
For our one year anniversary
I’m making Katherine a Toothless cosplay from How to Train Your Dragon. She already knows about it because I needed her help for a few things. We’ve already got the torso and sleeves cut out but I haven’t decided if the wings should be free-standing or not.
Also, the fabric is soft but scaly looking. It’s perfect.
And I’m going to make myself a Hiccup cosplay to match. So when I give it to her I’ll be in my cosplay.
Ciel Phantomhive Cosplay Progress - Accessories
For Victoria’s Ciel cane, we spray-painted a dowel, tied on a ribbon, and attached a drawer knob to the top. It looks pretty fancy.
The eyepatch was made out of a scrap of black fabric I had left over from my Rin cosplay.

Ciel Phantomhive Cosplay Progress - Coat
Victoria = tiny sir.
So we found this wonderful fabric for Ciel’s coat. It feels legit.
We started out basing the body of the coat on a smaller version of the pattern I used for my Pirate!Spain coat, then altered it. The sleeves were from another pattern that I altered lots. Then the back was folded and pleated to look like the concept art. Next were the lapels/collar and finally the little buttons/strap in the back. There’s also fancy buttons on the front.
Sebastian Michaelis Cosplay Progress - Jacket
We managed to also find a pretty awesome fabric for Sebastian. I made a little pattern for the front part of the jacket.
The first picture (kind of hard to see since my shirt is black) is the basic body of the coat with the tails. The second is how I was making the tails. The third picture is when I attached the sleeves. I was actually pretty happy with them. The fourth and fifth are of the fancy buttons.
We used the fabric to also make a vest and then I made a little tie thing since I left my black tie at school
Princess Bubblegum Cosplay Progress
For Victoria’s Bubblegum cosplay, we originally started with some pink fabric I had left over from my Chibimano with some red fabric my mom gave us underneath. Then I messed up the calculations so we went to go get new fabric. We found this wonderful sheer pink that I had some white to go underneath, but then we tried it over a light purple and thought it looked more princess-y. Then we found a shiny pink satin to use for the ribbon.
The first row of pictures is of the panels for the top. I made one extra to make it a little bigger so that I can fit it better. The second row is of the zipper and the finished skirt part of the dress. The third row is the process of making the ribbon. The last is the mostly-finished dress without and with the bow.
Once I see Victoria again, we can make the straps, fit it better, and make the bow be attached.
We plan on making petticoats underneath as well.
for BaileyCon (Bailey’s birthday), we surprised her by dressing up as Applebloom and Big MacIntosh from My Little Pony since Bailey is a wonderful Applejack. This is a picture of Victoria’s Applebloom. I made her the giant bow XD
I don’t have a picture of my cosplay, but we’re planning on doing it again in the future :)
Just some things that have been on my mind
It just really pisses me off sometimes that other people get to see their girlfriends every day and I have to wait weeks and sometimes months in between seeing mine. Other people have a bad day, they get to cuddle up to their girlfriend and everything is peachy. With me, I usually end up spending my nights freaking out and trying to calm down and trying not to worry Katherine.
And some people just really don’t deserve it.
Anyway, school is ending, so yeah stress. And it’s around this time that the thought occurs to me to stop what I’m doing and becoming a professional mermaid.
And lately I’ve just been so stressed out and mad at things that I don’t know if I want to cry or stab someone.
